More Random Thoughts

Couple of things, I voted for Obama, I apologize.
He is officially the worst president we have ever had.
Not only did hebreak every promise he made, it's like he went out of his way to break the specific promises, not just to overall issues like most politicians.
Congratulations, dude, that's got to be some kind of record.
And, since I've always sucked at transition into a new topic...
The music industry is doing fine, artists are creating, some are actually getting paid enough from their record deals to maybe start thinking about saving up to go out to dinner in a couple years or so. The recording industry is dying. The recording industry, like publishing, is the business built around the principle that, for the longest time, it was really difficult and expensive to record, edit, press, market, and distribute music to the public. As it stands now, any schmuck with a webcam and mic can record himself singing in the shower, post it to youtube, and get a million hits in a month (provided he's really good of course) then get a free domain or pay $10 to google and get a top level domain (www.example.com) with a free google account as the only prerequisite, sell the 320kbps(perfect audiophile golden-ear CD quality) MP3s of his music to anyone, anywhere for, oh, say 90 cents, or even a pay what you want model. If he's really good, he gets tons of free ( or nearly so) publicity and fans, but if not, well no big deal he's only out the time it took to record the songs, upload them, and create the (free) website plus ten bucks for the one year domain registration fee of the site he bought from google, which he can then re purpose into almost anything.

Lastly, will someone please comment, i feel like I'm ranting to myself here

My Blog

I have a blog now.
Yay for me I suppose.
You know, I've noticed that we probably have more accounts on various websites than we could possibly ever close. That's the only reason I still have an aol address. I've looked, I don' think they'll let me close that account. But whatever, it's free and now I just use it to route all my spam from the hundreds of message boards I only register with to be able to view some random posting.
